How to Brew St John'S Wort

The prepared tea has a mild, slightly bitter, earthy flavor.

Native to Europe.

Here is how to brew St John'S Wort for a clean, full-flavoured cup. One ingredient. Nothing added.

How to Brew St John'S Wort

  1. Measure 2g of St John'S Wort into your cup or teapot per 250 ml of water.
  2. Heat fresh, filtered water to 95-100 C.
  3. Pour the water over the St John'S Wort and steep for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve hot as tea, add honey to taste.
  5. It re-brews 2-3x, so you can steep a second cup from the same St John'S Wort.

Tips

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, tightly sealed after opening.
  • In the kitchen: Prepared as an infusion using the whole dried flowering tops for a fuller-bodied cup.
